Not a high green light for cannabis lovers: 29 cannabis shops license to be revoked

Officials from the excise department claim that Manish Singh, the collector, has revoked the licenses following complaints about serious irregularities and continued complaints regarding an operation of Mohammad Mujahid S/o Muhammad Rafiq Khan. Raj Narayan Soni, the assistant excise commissioner, stated that 29 cannabis shop licenses were canceled that were including 16 cannabis shops and 12 bhang gota shops. There was also a new medical cannabis license approved for the fiscal year 2022-23 to produce cannabis medicines. 

According to the collector, they are receiving reports that cannabis shops have added intoxicants to enhance the effects of cannabis.
